• Klik Start - All Programs - Accessories - Windows Explorer (atau klik-kanan di Start menu dan pilih Explore).
• Ketik lengkap alamat situs (misal, http://www.facebook.com/) di kolom Address tepat di bawah ikon-ikon mungil di sebelah atas Windows Explorer itu (sertakan juga http://).
  
• Dan laman fb Anda akan terbuka seperti di bawah ini (pastikan sudah terinstal Java dan Flash Player).
• (Tips: tekan tombol [Ctrl] saat klik gambar bawah untuk membukanya di tab baru.)
  

• Buka Notepad. Klik Start - All Programs - Accessories - Notepad.
• Lalu tekan F1 untuk membuka menu Help Topics dari Notepad (atau, klik Help - klik Help Topics).

• Klik-kanan pada ikon Notepad di sebelah kiri atas (gambar kertas bertanda tanya kuning).
• Pilih Jump to URL.

• Masukkan alamat lengkap URL situs jejaring sosial Anda, misalnya fesbuk, di kotak Jump to this URL. Klik OK.
  

• Dan Notepad (Help Topics) pun sekarang berfungsi sebagai browser seperti di bawah ini.
